4 Companies That Don’t Charge Agent Fees For Part Time Maid Services

When looking for part time Maid Service or cleaning services, you want to give your family a comfortable life as you get more time to focus on important matters. However, getting quality services often means paying more which (frankly speaking) is unfair during current financial times. For this reason, it is wise to pick a company that offers its services without charging agent fees.

In this article, we have listed down 4 such companies that are fully based in Singapore. Hopefully, these examples will help you save your money as you enjoy great value for it at the same time.

E Home Services –
This is a professional cleaning company boasts a good reputation among homeowners due to the quality services it provides. They hire maids who are professionally trained and who have experience for many years. This company provides a wide range of services to homes and thus if you are looking for a company with a clean track record you might want to test their services.

Because it is a company that respects its customers, E Home Services stands tall as a force to reckon with in the laundry and home maintenance industry. Best of all is that their prices are pretty reasonable.

They don’t charge agency fee for maid services and this goes a long way to ensure that you save a lot. Normally, some companies require you to pay a certain percentage prior to accessing their services. This, as you would expect means that you have to pay more. Worse of all, such charges don’t necessarily translate to an improvement in service delivery.

E Home is your go to company whenever you want to keep your home cleaner and perfect for living in under a tight budget.

Let’s face it; prices for most basic commodities are rising quite fast and the last thing we want to pay expensively for is home cleaning. @bsolute Solutions Pte Ltd, helps you save on these services. They don’t charge agency fees for their part time maid and cleaners.

Normally, you would expect such a company to offer services that are below par. But that’s not really the case with @bsolute Solutions Pte. They appreciate the fact that cleaning a home is a noble task that needs to be handled professionally. They seem to be alive to the fact that though house cleaning is not really a high tech procedure, it does require some skills and knowledge.

For this reason, they have gone ahead to invest in a team that is both well-trained and highly disciplined. Besides that, they have gone ahead to invest in the latest technology just to ensure that the job is done in timely fashion and meets the highest standards set in the market.

Well, you may not save much using professional cleaning services, but the value of time and approach given by this company is really something worth looking forward to.

Auntie Cleaner Pte Ltd – https://www.facebook.com/parttimecleaner
With basic cleaning tasks, you want full reassurance that you are hiring a qualified service provider.

Auntie Cleaner is one such company that boasts a massive customer following both online and offline. They provide their part-time maid services without appending those hectic agency charges we all don’t want to hear about.

This is a simple strategy they have employed to lower the prices of their services and to ensure good value for money. This is the deal that you need to receive every few days so that you can keep your house in the best condition and ready for all important occasions.

The good thing about working with this company is that they take responsibility over any wrongdoings of their maids. For this reason, they always carry out a background check of their staff because they want to keep their reputation intact.

Not only is Auntie Cleaner a good company on service delivery but also they have the right capacity to handle most jobs. Not only do they ensure that job is done perfectly, but they work to prevent damages that may be caused by incorrect cleaning methods.

Combine all these benefits, and clearly, you get a deal that is beyond reproach.

Singapore Laundry – http://www.singaporelaundry.com/housecleaning.html

Although there are many ways to save on maid services, you should never compromise on quality. Singapore laundry is a company that seems to know this quite well. They offer affordable, professional part-time maid services at a competitive price tag simply because they don’t charge agency fees.

When you are working with a company that seeks to profit from its staff, you’ll normally be required to add a certain percentage of the bill. Of course, this means paying more for the same services. Given that we live in times when things are getting really tough on everybody, the last thing you want is to pay for something you don’t really benefit from. Singapore Laundry does not seek to profit from their workers and for this reason they don’t charge any hidden fees on their part-time maid services.

The main benefit of using their part-time maid services is that you are assured of security in your house. If history is anything to go by, families that hire full time cleaners are likely to have their personal property vandalized. It is also worth noting that historically, full time cleaners are more prone to getting impregnated after which they are likely to stop working.

Such situations can be easily avoided by consulting companies such as Singapore Laundry which are known for providing affordable services without charging agency fees.

Bottom Line

Choosing part-time house cleaning services that don’t charge agent fees gives you absolute peace of mind. Besides that, it saves you lots of money given that your property’s safety is assured. Unlike using alternative services, you don’t have to bear more costs in installing CCTV cameras in your house so that you can monitor activities. The issue of misconduct and mistrust are much fewer when you hire part time cleaners from reputable companies.

Please note that Singapore has many other companies that provide part-time maid services. But the 4 companies we have listed above seem to be at the top of the market and have a clean track record so far.

Maid Service

Cleaning: You can do it wrong. You can damage a surface, waste time doing a task that doesn’t address the real problem, miss opportunities to make your life easier, and more! To help you clean better, faster and more easily, I’m sharing seven of the most common cleaning mistakes. Are you making any of these? OR Maid Service making any of these ?

#1 Over-Cleaning The Bathroom

Good news, everyone: You can probably get away with cleaning your bathroom less! When I read your comments on our bathroom cleaning videos, I can see that many of you are simply doing more work in there than you need to. You don’t have to go in there wearing rubber gloves up to your elbows wielding heavy-duty disinfectants every time. Unless someone’s been sick or missed the toilet, regular bathroom cleaning is a matter of managing the soap scum that builds up in your shower or tub, disinfecting very specific areas (like the toilet) and shining or polishing fixtures. As far as the heavy-duty stuff, think of it more as spot cleaning—use it where, and as, needed.

#2 No Gameplan

Before I got into the cleaning world, I had no plans when it came to cleaning. I would just go into a room and start cleaning things at random. I’d invest so much time but my results were terrible and I’d end up more frustrated than when I started. This is one of the reasons I talk about how much I used to hate cleaning—I just didn’t know how to do it. Once I got into cleaning, I realized the importance of understanding how to clean and having a plan, which is what I now call my 3-Wave System. I detail this system in my book and recently made a video all about it. Essentially, you can think of it as a method to your cleaning madness. I promise this approach will totally change the way that you clean. No longer will you be embarking on a cleaning task with frustration and sadness; you’ll come at it with meaning, you’ll get your cleaning done quickly, and your results will be better for it.

#3 Not Reading Directions

It may seem unnecessary, but reading the directions on your cleaning products is well worth your time. Companies dedicate a lot of energy to formulating and testing their cleaners—but what good are they if you’re not using them as intended? That bathroom cleaning spray or window cleaner, for example, is only as effective as the person who uses it. Plus, companies must abide by many rules and regulations, so correct usage ensures safety as well as prevents surface damage. Simply put: It’s in your best interests to let the product do the work for you. So, if you pick up a new cleaning product, flip it over, quickly read the label and make sure you understand where and how it’s supposed to be used.

#4 Disinfecting Too Much

maids service , As a society, we seem to be in a panic about disinfecting. I need to tell you—not everything in your home needs sanitizing and certainly not all the time. If someone has the flu or a cold, of course, you want to do some special cleaning to get rid of germs (we’ve got a great article about post-flu clean-up.) Or maybe someone has had an accident in the corner—oh, the joys of pets and kids! Or, perhaps some chicken juice has spilled on the kitchen counter; certainly, you want to clean these messes up using the proper disinfection methods. But disinfecting is not the same as cleaning, and doing it too much over-sanitizes your living environment. Remember: our bodies need a lot of bacteria so that we can stay healthy, so you don’t want to kill off every microorganism. For regular cleaning tasks, skip the disinfectant, and reach instead for soap and water or a vinegar-based solution.

#5 Over-Relying On All Purpose Cleaner

maid services , I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Not all cleaning products are created equal! Even though I tout all-purpose cleaner as a kind of general salve for cleaning, it can’t actually do everything. There are specialty products that exist (or, if you’re into the DIY thing, different cleaning solution recipes), each of which is specially formulated to perform a certain task brilliantly. Take advantage of that! All-purpose cleaners are not the best on glass, for example. The soap can leave streaks, potentially leaving the surface dirtier than when you started. Worse yet, in some very rare cases, like with unfinished leather or unfinished wood, you can even damage a surface if you’re using an all-purpose cleaner instead of a specialty one. So, always think about what you’re cleaning and measure whether or you should use all-purpose or a more specific cleaning product.

#6 Masking Odors (Instead Of Cleaning Them)

I want to make a distinction here. There is a big difference between masking an odor and killing the odor at the source. Masking the odor is like putting on deodorant. Killing the odor at the source is like taking a shower and cleaning under your arms. Imagine if you decided to never take a shower again and instead just used deodorant all the time? Gross! That’s exactly what people do when they’re using air fresheners or fabric refreshers in lieu of cleaning a surface. Typically upholstery and other soft surfaces get treated this way for prolonged periods of time. Now, using these products in between cleans is ok, but, if you walk into a room and you smell something you can never seem to get rid of, you’re not doing yourself or your home any favors. You want to find where the odor-causing bacteria is coming from. Maybe it’s the armchair, a pair of shoes, an old rug or maybe even some milk that’s spilled under the fridge—whatever it is, that’s what needs cleaning. Only then will the smell truly be gone, and the bacteria along with it.

#7 Hacking It Too Much

maids services , This is one that really gets my blood boiling. I see a lot of cleaning hacks popping up online and on social media. I get it—who doesn’t want a shortcut, especially when it comes to cleaning? But in reality, the results are almost always disappointing. Not to mention that some hacks fail altogether. Now that’s a waste of time and effort if I’ve ever seen one! The truth is, in cleaning, if you’re looking for a shortcut, you first need to have traveled the long way. Only once you’ve mastered proper techniques should you look for ways to shave time off tasks.

Now you’re seven tips closer to achieving expert status in your cleaning! Recently or in the distant past, have you made any cleaning mistakes—and what damage did you do? Please share below.

Cleaning Secrets of a Working Mom

Without cleaning service There are many articles out there which document the mental load that a Mom carries, not only does she have to take care of her family and manage a household, in many cases, she has to work as well. I am one of those Moms that has a pretty large mental load. I run a business, I have a baby, I have a house to take care of, and I want a social life. Needless to say, there are a lot of things going on, and while I haven’t totally figured it out, I have certainly come up with some shortcuts to help balance all of the madness.

Start The Day Off Right

As a working Mom, you can never use the excuse, “I woke up on the wrong side of the bed.” You still have people who need and want things from you, so, it’s crucial to start your day off right. Here are a few things that I like to do. First of all, I make sure that in the morning, when I check my phone, I check it for only three quick things: I check any notes or updates that I have left for myself for that particular day. I then check my calendar so I know exactly what’s going on—I usually do this the night before as well but this is just a good reminder. Finally, I check my email really quickly to see if there’s anything urgent that I have to take care of. Other things that I do to keep up the pace: I make sure that I unload the dishwasher in the morning. As annoying as it might sound, I unload it while something else is happening like water is boiling or some food is heating up. That way I know that the rest of the day at least the dishwasher and the kitchen counter area is set and it’s not going to become chaotic. At this stage in the game Riley is pretty easy to satisfy when it comes to breakfast, she also eats at daycare, so typically in the morning it’s just some milk for her while I prep my lunch—just a few food items (usually leftovers), some cutlery, and a napkin. Simple.

Be Prepared

Before Riley was born, I thought that I was pretty organized and on the ball. After she was born, life changed (of course!), but then after I went back to work, a whole other level of craziness reared its head. I had my own stuff to tend to, and now I had to get her off to daycare as well. So, where I thought I was efficient in the past, I had to completely rejig my routine. What I used as a benchmark was the habits of highly effective people. I tried to incorporate some of these ideas into what I was doing each day. This includes things like preparing the night before—so now I pick the outfit that I’m going to be wearing the next day and leave it out for the morning. I also pack my bags the night before—my work bag, my purse, any documentation or forms—and I always make sure that I have everything charged as well (laptop, cell phone etc.).

Now, let’s say in the morning, everything goes right and then all of a sudden I pull my shirt on and I get a lipstick stain on my shirt. This can really throw a wrench in your plans. Instead of freaking out, I just keep my Carbona Stain Devils handy. I like keeping these around because they are specifically formulated to deal with certain types of stains so I know that I’m not running the risk of a stain remover product maybe working and maybe not working. I simply deal with the stain, throw it in the washing machine for later, change my shirt, and move on with my day.

Car Gear

My car is like a little home away from home, and now that I have a baby, I’m always thinking two steps ahead. I’ve been in enough situations where I’ve been without something and had to go all the way back to my house just to get it, or have to run out and buy something in a pinch. So, what I do now, is pack a little emergency bag and throw it in the trunk. This will include some washcloths, a package of wipes, a spare diaper, a blanket, a change of her clothes and, of course, a change of mine. That way neither of us is ever in a pickle. And, while I do carry a diaper bag with me most of the time, it’ll be that one time I don’t bring it with me that something will inevitably happen. I also like to keep some cleaning tools in the car with me. First of all, some microfiber cloths. These have come in handy so many times! If there’s a spill or a mess of some sort I just grab one of these cloths and give it a quick wipe. The other thing I keep around is a lint roller. This is good not only to remove pet hair, which is often on me after I leave the house, but any crumbs that have fallen in the car.

Keep Your Workspace Clean!

There are things that can splash onto a monitor, a phone, a tablet, a keyboard… the list goes on, so, it’s important to keep a couple of little cleaning solutions handy (you can use little mini spray bottles and just keep them tucked in your desk). The first one would be a general disinfectant—just equal parts water and rubbing alcohol. This is great to clean any of your screens as well as disinfect any surfaces that. You can also have a general-purpose cleaner with you—a little bit of dish soap, a little bit of water—and you can use this with a general-purpose microfiber cloth to give any surface a quick clean up. This is important because I always find that mess begets mess, so the messier your space looks the messier and grimier it will become over time. If you can nip it in the bud and stay on top of it by keeping these simple little tools handy, it’ll help keep your work space a lot cleaner.

At The End of The Day…

As many Moms say: when they get home from work, their other full-time job begins. The first thing I want you to know is just don’t feel bad about anything. There are days where I am on top of the world when it comes to keeping clean and on top of things, and there are days where I totally drop the ball and I’m jokingly apologetic about it—but really, deep down in my heart, I don’t feel bad because I’m doing my best. That said, there are a few practical things that I do just to try and stay on top of things. The dishwasher is so important for me. As I said, I unload the dishwasher in the morning so that when I get home, any lunch containers, any sippy cups from Riley, any things that we use to cook and eat dinner, can all get put right into the dishwasher (instead of sitting piled on the counter). The other thing that I make sure I do is wash any stained clothing. I’m not talking regular laundry—specifically stained clothing. Whether it’s from me or Chad or Riley, I will gather any of that stained stuff—so that shirt that I got a lipstick stain on in the morning, that’s going to go in this load. And, of course, anything that Riley comes home with is going to go into this load as well. I’ve been using Carbona Color Grabber lately, which are these microfiber sheets that you throw in with your laundry that grab and lock-in loose dyes to prevent color runs. Brilliant. This saves me a lot of time because I don’t have to worry about separating out colors, especially for a small load.

Above all else, each night just takes some time for you, whether it’s reading a magazine, doing your nails, catching up on a show that you’re binge-watching or just sitting in your room playing Scrabble on your iPad. Whatever you need to do to unwind and just take your mind off of everything else, do it. It’s so important to recharge your batteries so that you can be rested for the next day.

How to Clean a Window Air Conditioner ?

dubai ac cleaning , abu dhabi ac cleaning , sharjah ac cleaning , al ain ac cleaning

Cleaning your window air conditioner regularly is vital to keeping it in good working order. Remove and rinse the filter monthly during the cooling season. When it’s not in use, store the unit indoors and cover it with a sheet of plastic or tarp. Before you install it at the start of warmer weather, disassemble it and give it a thorough seasonal cleaning. Comb its aluminum fins, blow the coils with compressed air, and vacuum and wipe down the interior tray. If your unit is especially dirty, deep clean it with a coil cleaner or oxygenated household cleaner.

Without ac cleaning service Cleaning the Air Conditioner ( ac cleaning) Daily

  1. Look and smell for signs of mildew. If a mildew smell is noticeable when you first turn the A/C on, this method may help.
  2. 2 Fill a spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide. The 3% solution sold in stores will work.
    • Do not use alcohol, as this is flammable and could start a fire.
    • Do not use bleach, as those fumes are toxic and bleach could damage the unit.
    • While safer than bleach or alcohol, hydrogen peroxide should still be clearly labelled and kept out of the reach of children.
  3. 3Turn the unit off. Spray the intake area and outflow area on the front of the unit.
    • Avoid getting spray in eyes or inhaling it. Once it settles on surfaces, the fumes are no longer a concern.
    • Rinse hands after spraying.
  4. 4Allow it to dry. Then turn the unit back on.
    • Spraying when the unit is turned off for the night is ideal, as that allows plenty of time to dry before morning.
  5. 5Do a deeper clean if needed. If this method isn’t sufficient, remove the filter, with the unit off, and spray further inside the unit.
    • Place a drip tray underneath the unit to catch any drips, which might otherwise bleach carpet, fabric, or wood.
    • A turkey basting tray is one possible option.
  6. 6Avoid turning the unit on and off often. Before the condensate evaporates, that’s the ideal breeding period for microbes. While the unit is on, the temperature extremes and continuous flow of condensate washing old water outside (you may see it dripping) prevents the build-up of microbes.

Method2Cleaning the Filter Monthly

  1. 1 Remove the unit’s front panel to access the filter. Turn the unit off and disconnect the power cord before removing the front panel. Your air conditioner’s front panel is secured with screws or tabs. Remove the panel, locate the filter, and pull it out of its slot.
    • Depending on your model, you’ll either pull the filter up or slide it down out of its slot. Check your manual for specific information about how to remove your front panel and filter.
  2. 2 Run water through the filter. Rinse the filter under running warm water. Use a vacuum hose attachment to clean the filter if it’s caked with dirt or grime.
    • It’s best to clean your filter at least once a month. Clean it more often if you live in a dusty environment or have pets.
  3. 3 Let the filter dry then put in back in place. Shake off excess water and pat the filter with a dry towel. Let it sit out until it’s completely dry. When it’s dry, put the filter back into its slot and replace the unit’s front panel.
    • Never run an air conditioner with a wet filter or without a filter.
  4. 4 Replace a worn filter. If your filter is worn or torn, you should replace it. If the filter is designed specifically for your unit, identify your model number and order a new one online or from your unit’s manufacturer.
    • If your unit has a universal foam filter, you can purchase a cut-to-fit air conditioner filter online or at your local home improvement store.

Method3Cleaning an Air Conditioner Seasonally

  1. 1 Remove the unit’s casing. Make sure the unit is off and that power is disconnected. Remove the front panel and fins that attach the unit to the window. Remove all the screws that attach the exterior casing to the unit’s interior. Carefully slide the casing away from the interior, and make sure you don’t snag the casing on any of the parts inside.
    • The screws are small, so be sure to keep them in a safe place, like an envelope or small can.
  2. 2 Comb the aluminum fins. Use a fin comb or soft bristle brush to comb away dust and debris from the aluminum fins. You can find inexpensive combs specially made for window unit fins online or at a home improvement store.
    • Wearing work gloves when you clean the fins will prevent you from getting cut.
  3. 3Blow the coils and fan with condensed air. Purchase a canister of condensed air online or at your home improvement store. Spray into the fins and around the coils at the front and back of the unit. Blow away dust around the fan and motor at the center of the unit.[10]
  4. 4 Vacuum and wipe down the tray. Use a shop vac or vacuum hose attachment to remove debris from the tray, or the base of the unit’s interior. Spray it down with a household cleaner, scrub it, then wipe it with a damp cloth.
    • Hand dry the tray with a clean towel then let it air dry for a few hours before reassembling the unit.
  5. 5Store your air conditioner inside during cooler weather. When it’s not in use, you should store your window unit indoors. Remove it from the window and keep it in your attic or basement. Cover it with a plastic sheet or tarp to keep dust and debris from accumulating.[12]
    • If you can’t remove the air conditioner from the window, cover the exterior portion of the unit with a tarp or cover designed for air conditioners.

Method4Giving Your Unit a Deep Clean

  1. 1 Take the unit outside and remove its case. Place the unit on a table outside within reach of a hose. Take off the front panel and side fins that attach to the window. Remove the screws that attach the casing to the unit, store them in a safe place, and carefully slide off the casing.
    • Choose a warm, sunny day to deep clean your air conditioner outside.
  2. 2 Spray the casing and interior with cleaning solution. Use an air conditioner coil cleaner or an oxygenated household cleaner. You can also mix warm water with a few drops of dish detergent. Spray the front panel, case, and window fins with the cleaner. Then spray the interior coils, fan, aluminum fins, and interior base
    • Let the parts soak for about 10 minutes.
  3. 3 Scrub the unit and case and spray again if necessary. Use a soft bristle brush to gently scrub all the parts you sprayed with cleaning solution. If you encounter stubborn grime, such as around the fan blades, spray the areas again and let them soak for another few minutes. Then give them another scrub with your soft bristled brush.
  4. 4 Use a hose to rinse the case, coils, and tray. Set your hose on low pressure, as high pressure could damage the coils or aluminum fins. Spray down the exterior panel, casing, and window fins. Then hose down the coils, fan, and aluminum fins. Tilt the unit to spray and drain the interior base.
    • Avoid getting the control panel wet when you hose down the unit.
  5. 5 Let your unit dry before reassembling it. Leave your unit outside to dry in the sun for a few hours. You can towel dry as much excess water as possible to make the process go faster. Wait until the unit is completely dry before you reassemble it.

10 Reasons Why You Should Use a Professional Carpet Cleaner in dubai carpet cleaning ,abu dhabi carpet cleaning, sharjah carpet cleaning , al ain carpet cleaning

?

Have you ever cleaned your own carpets?

We are not talking vacuuming, but actually attempting to use solutions to remove stains?

It can be a difficult process and is never as easy or effective as professional carpet cleaners make it look, like many things in life. With so many products, both hardware and solutions, on the market, many argue the reason for hiring a professional when you can do it yourself. We have compiled a list of the top ten reasons to hire Eden Cleaning professional carpet cleaners.

1. Time Saving

First of all the amount of time you save when you hire Eden Cleaning is reason enough for most people to choose hiring someone to clean their carpets rather than to do it themselves. It takes a considerable amount of time to clean a house of any considerable size, and with an already busy day and life, it’s much more realistic for most people to hire someone. Eden Cleaning Carpet Cleaning in Richardson are your local, trusted, professional carpet cleaning partner.

2. Ease and Simplicity

It’s incredibly easy when you hire someone to do the job for you. First and foremost, Eden Cleaning are the experts in carpet cleaning service. If you decide to clean your carpets yourself, you have to deal with moving all the furniture, renting a carpet cleaner, cleaning the carpet and then returning the carpet cleaner back to the store you rented it from. These machines are often heavy and cumbersome too. All of this to achieve a cleaner carpet which even once you have finished cannot come close to matching the results of what a professional carpet cleaning company like Eden Cleaning can produce.

3. Health Conditions

Just like most things in life, a professional will always do a better job than an amateur. Professional carpet cleaners will always do a better job than an amateur with a hired machine. One of the most attractive reasons to hire a pro is the health benefits that arise from a professionally cleaned carpet. One of the biggest reasons for hiring a professional  carpet cleaning company like Eden Cleaning of Richardson is that we will get down deep and dirty and hit all the spots you probably wouldn’t when doing it yourself. Vacuuming alone only removes the top layer of dirt, however powerful your vacuum is. Within the carpet fibers and backing is an area of which doesn’t get touched. This is the bit that Eden Cleaning can get to. Here breeds mold & fungus, mites, dust and any other number of unwanted health hazards can be found. Eden Cleaning is able to eliminate these health hazards for you, leaving your carpets fresh and clean.

4. Odors and Smells

Carpets can smell. They are at the bottom of each an every room in your home and as such, everything settles here. With regular traffic, all those crumbs, spills, dirt and dust simply disappear into the pile. With our superior carpet cleaning knowledge, we can get rid of all the nasty smells which arise from a dirty carpet. Things like pet stains and food spill, as well as general wear and tear all, add to the odor problem which occurs within the carpet and just cleaning them doesn’t solve the problem. All the scrubbing in the world or off the shelf cleaning products will not get rid of these nasty smells. The majority of products you see in retail stores will only mask the smell for a very short period of time whereas Eden Cleaning Carpet Cleaning in Richardson TX can eliminate them all together with a combination of high powered cleaning technology and solutions.

5. Extend the Life of Your Carpet

Through routine cleaning and maintenance, you can count on the life of your carpet being extended for any number of years depending on the quality and frequency of cleanings. The carpet in your home is just as much of an asset as the paint on your walls, if not more so given the constant traffic.

6. Improve Your Comfort

You probably know the feeling you get when your house is freshly cleaned from top to bottom. It’s much more comfortable when you have a clean house and carpet. A clean carpet smells fresh and leaves the house with that new house smell and feeling. A freshly cleaned carpet feels so much better to walk on with bare feet. Once cleaned, it’s up to you to take care of the vacuuming and keep that smell and freshness alive as long as possible.

7. Increase the Aesthetics of Your Home

There is nothing worse than walking into a home with a dirty and unkept carpet. It looks bad and can smell bad too. Having your carpets professionally cleaned by Eden Cleaning can give your carpets that ‘like new’ look and feel again.

8. Get the Job Done Right the First Time

One of the major concerns with cleaning a carpet yourself is that it rarely gets done right the first time. We often encounter scenarios where a person cleans their carpet only to contact us to professionally clean the same carpet a week later. You can avoid this and get the job done right the first time. Save yourself the time and money that you could spend on low quality rented cleaners which don’t do anything else than wet the carpet.

9. Eliminate Stains and Maintain Appearance

If your carpet is stained heavily you can count that a professional will get a high percentage of the stains out where as a DIY clean probably won’t. Here at Eden Cleaning we have years of experience in dealing with stains and can identify and adapt our cleaning techniques to suit your specific scenario. Carpet cleaning is more complex then what most people realize. If you are not careful and use the wrong type of product on a stain you could very well end up ruining your carpet and cause more damage.

10. Relax Knowing That Your Carpet is In Good Hands

Sit back and relax while Eden Cleaning takes care of the job for you. There is nothing better than knowing that a professional is doing a job that a rental cleaner simply cannot match.

floor cleaning

Asphalt tile: Try to mop every week using 1 cup of fabric softener in half a pail of water. Don’t flood the floor, since excess water can loosen adhesives and grout. Remove marks with fine-grade steel wool and liquid floor wax. Rub clean, then wipe with a damp cloth.

Brick flooring: Since brick is porous, keep the surface sealed and waxed with a commercial sealer. Mop after vacuuming. Use 1 cup of vinegar mixed in water to make it shine. Use a solvent-based wax, and use a wax stripper and brush to remove buildup as needed. Don’t use acids, strong soaps or abrasives.

Ceramic tile: Glazed ceramic is virtually stain proof; however, if it is UN glazed, that means it’s porous and will need to be sealed. Don’t use harsh abrasives, acids or strong soaps on UN glazed ceramic. Mop with all-purpose cleaner, and dry with a soft cloth. Strip UN glazed ceramic once a year and rinse thoroughly afterward.

Concrete: Since concrete is very porous, it stains easily. Prior to sealing with a commercial sealer, sweep up loose dirt, and clean with an all-purpose cleaner. Use kitty litter to absorb oil and grease on your garage floor. Spread with a stiff broom, working from the back of the garage to the front, and then wash clean using a garden hose. If you need to use a heavy-duty floor cleaner, apply with a sponge mop, rinse and allow to dry.  Concrete floors can be kept clean easier if they are treated with an epoxy paint or other strong coating.

Flagstone and slate: Natural stone is rough and porous and should be sealed with a commercial sealer. Apply two thin coats of acrylic floor finish using a lamb’s wool pad, or apply paste with a floor polishing machine. Occasionally strip, rinse and reapply wax. Use a mop using either clear water, all-purpose cleaner or water with fabric softener.

Linoleum and vinyl: Prior to waxing, vacuum and mop, remove marks with a fine grade steel wool. Cleaning linoleum and vinyl floors is easy, but be careful of the products you use.  Solvent-based products, scouring, flooding and using very hot water are all bad for linoleum. The fastest way to floor cleaning service is with a one-step cleaner or polish, but the best way is to mop with all-purpose cleaner.

Marble: Non-polished marble is very porous, so seal it with commercial sealer. Mop it with clear water and all-purpose cleaner. You can also use 1 cup fabric softener to ½ gallon water, and use a self-polishing liquid wax. Strip occasionally, rinse and reapply wax. You also can use water-based wax or paste wax. If using a paste, test in a corner of the room to make sure the paste won’t discolor the flooring.

House cleaning experts can help you get any floor sparkling clean.

Cleaning hardwood floors

Many vintage and restored homes have original hardwood floors made of oak, maple or exotic woods like Brazilian cherry. Bamboo and other hardwood alternatives have become popular in recent years because they are made from a renewable source.

These floors can be cleaned by a daily sweep with a dust mop. Once a week, they can be damp mopped with a quality, liquid soap. There are also some cleaners that have gentle detergents and oils in them that will protect the wood’s natural finish.

When mopping a wood floor, be careful not to get too much liquid on the floor at one time. Wood floors can be damaged by being overly saturated.

How to Protect Hardwood floor cleaning services Year-round

As we enter into the cold season, many of our customers ask us how to care for their hardwood floors.

Hiring a floor cleaner

Professional floor cleaners use special tools and sometimes floor cleaning machines to clean and disinfect stained floors. Most people are familiar with professional carpet cleaning, but professional floor cleaners also clean other kinds of flooring such as tile and wood. Here are some basic tips related to finding and hiring a professional floor cleaner:

Floor cleaning cost: The vast majority of professional floor cleaners charge for their services by the square foot. The larger the floor area that needs to be cleaned, the more it will cost to use a professional floor cleaner.

Finding a floor cleaner: Homeowners and business owners are fortunate because there are several ways that they can find a good floor cleaner. Check reviewes or chat with friends and family for a recommendation a quality professional floor cleaning company. Those who are hiring professional floor cleaners should always compare quotes from several different companies no matter how these companies are located.

Frequency: Most experts recommend that carpeted floors be professionally cleaned at least once a year if they experience a lot of foot traffic. Tile floors should be cleaned professionally when the grout gets stained. The frequency of cleaning can be adjusted depending on special circumstances.

Floor maintenance

It is essential for homeowners and business owners to maintain their floors if they want to reduce the amount of money they spend on the repair, replacement and professional cleaning of their flooring. Here are some things to keep in mind:

Ease of maintenance: Simply put, some floors are easier to clean and maintain than others. Carpet needs far more attention than hard surfaces because it is easy for spills to stain carpet fibers. Dirt also gets ground into carpets quite easily. Hard surfaces such as tile and wood are simpler to clean because they do not easily stain, and they resist the damage that dirt can cause. Of these hard flooring options, wood is easier to maintain because, unlike most tiled floors, it does not have grout that can get stained.

Basic floor care products: A mop and a broom are a must for nearly anyone that has floors to clean. A vacuum will also be necessary if some or all of the flooring is carpeted. Spot cleaners will be needed for carpeted floors, and wax is required for wood floors.

Keeping floors clean: The first step in floor cleaning and maintenance is keeping the dirt away. Welcome mats should be placed at entrances so that people can scrape the dirt off their shoes before they enter. In some places, such as a home, there can even be a rule that people remove their shoes before entering. Immediately cleaning up spills, especially on carpet, also makes it less likely that dirt will get embedded in the flooring.

Uses & Benefits

Chemicals in cleaning products like laundry detergent can help these products to perform just as well in cold water as in hot water, enabling consumers to save money and energy when washing their clothes. In addition, highly concentrated liquid laundry formulations made possible by chemistry require less packaging materials and generate less waste.

Household cleaning products containing antibacterial cleaners not only remove dirt and soil, but they also can kill the germs that may cause illness.

Chlorinated cleaning products can help protect against seasonal flu outbreaks and episodes of food borne illness. Daycare centers, hospitals, restaurants and other public facilities rely upon the disinfectant qualities of chlorine-based cleaners to keep the environment germ-free.

Cleaning solvents are also common cleaning products. For example, glycol ether are highly effective as an active component of heavy-duty glass, floor and other hard surface cleaning formulations. These solvents have good water compatibility, high solvency for greases and oils and good biodegradability.

Safety Information

Companies are providing more information than ever about ingredients in their cleaning products. The Consumer Product Ingredient Communication Initiative, launched in 2010, summarizes how companies are providing information about the ingredients in products in four major categories: air care, automotive care, cleaning, and polishes and floor maintenance products. For technical audiences, human and environmental safety data for chemical ingredients used in cleaning products is publicly available via the American Cleaning Institute’s Ingredient Safety Initiative.

Cleaning products, while safe and effective, must be handled appropriately to protect the health of consumers and their families. Users should follow all safe handling instructions on a product’s label before using a particular cleaning product. If a cleaning product is accidentally ingested, call the national Poison Control Center Hotline: 1-800-222-1222, and be sure to have the label from the cleaning product in hand.

Learn more about how to stay safe and healthy when using cleaning products.

The Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) requires precautionary labeling on containers of any consumer product that poses a likelihood of injury, to help consumers safely store and use those products and to provide information about immediate first aid steps to take if an accident happens.

Answering Questions

What are the ingredients of cleaning products?

There are many different types of ingredients used in cleaning products to help them perform. For example, you may see solvents like ethanol, or preservatives, or chlorine bleach listed in a cleaning product’s ingredients. You can often find the ingredients listed on a product’s ingredients label or packaging.

To learn more about a specific ingredient used in a cleaning product, the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) has also developed a  Cleaning Product Ingredient Inventory as a comprehensive list of unique ingredients used by ACI members to manufacture home use, dish care, laundry care and hard surface cleaning products. For common ingredients, ACI provides a summary of the hazard and exposure data collected, along with a summary of the screening-level risk assessment results.

Are there toxic chemicals in cleaning products?

Any chemical, even water or oxygen, can be toxic if too much is ingested or absorbed into the body. The toxicity of a specific substance depends on a variety of factors, including how much of the substance a person is exposed to, how they are exposed, and for how long.

While cleaning products are safe and effective, they must be handled appropriately to protect the health of consumers and their families. Users should follow all safe handling instructions on a product’s label before using a particular cleaning productS.

kitchen cleaning

How to Clean a Kitchen?? Cleaning the Stove Top
TO kitchen cleaning
1
Wipe the burners. You have to clean your gas or electric burners every now and then. Gas burners can be removed and washed by hand with warm water and soap. If you are lucky to have gas burners that can go into the dishwasher, throw them in there after you scrub off excess food. For electric burners, wipe debris with a moist sponge..[1]
The type of grate determines how you wash your burners. If you have an uncoated grate, use a scouring pad to clean the grate. If you have a coated grate, use a soft sponge.

2
Wipe the stove surface. Use a sponge and soap, or invest in some Clorox wipes to really break down those stains. If grease spills on your stovetop, clean it up right away because it becomes difficult to remove as it hardens.

3
Remove the control knobs and wash them. Wash them in the sink using warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid using a soap that has abrasives or ammonia in it, as these components will wash away the markings on the knobs.

4
Wipe the outside of the vent hood. Use a soapy cloth to clean the vent hood. Wash away the suds with a damp cloth, then dry with a dry cloth. Once a month, remove the vent filters and soak them in warm, soapy water. Gently scrub to clean, then let them dry thoroughly before putting them back.[2]
If you have a stainless steel hood, use a cleaning product meant to be used on stainless steel.

Cleaning the Oven

1
Clean the grates of the oven. Remove the grates from the oven. Fill a tub or bucket with warm, soapy water and soak the grates for several hours. Anything coated on the grates will be easier to scrub off. Use a scouring pad to scrub the grates.

2
Give your oven a good cleaning. You should deep-clean your oven every few months, or as soon as it starts to smoke while you are cooking. An effective oven cleaning mixture is ¼ cup salt, ¾ cup baking soda, and ¼ cup water. Cover any bare metal or clog openings with foil so that they do not get damaged by the mixture.[3]
If you have an electric stove, remove the racks and put the oven on cleaning mode. When the cycle has ended, use a damp cloth to remove any residue left by the cleaning cycle.

3
Spread the mixture all over the inside of the oven and let it remain overnight. Use a plastic spatula to remove the mixture. Wipe the oven clean with a rag. Replace the racks when they are dry.

Cleaning Out the Fridge: Cleaning the Freezer
Cleaning the Refrigerator

1
Remove all food from the fridge. Sort through each item. Throw out any items that have expired or gone bad. If possible, do this before going grocery shopping so that the old expired stuff can be thrown out, thus making space for new groceries.
Combine two tablespoons baking soda and one quart water. Dip a sponge in the solution, then wipe down the entire surfaces of the fridge, making sure to scrub out sticky stains.[4]

Wipe down every drawer and shelf, not just the main part of the fridge.

2
Wipe the solution away with a damp cloth. Dip a clean rag in water and wash away any residue left behind by the baking soda solution. Use a clean towel to dry each surface.

3
Leave a box of baking soda in the fridge. If your fridge smells bad, open a box of baking soda and leave it in the fridge. Baking soda absorbs odors and makes your fridge smell fresh.
Cleaning the Freezer

1
Clean out the freezer. First, unplug the refrigerator. After you have done this, remove your frozen items. Throw out expired items and put the rest in a cooler while you clean.

2
Cleaning solution. Combine 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon dish soap, and 1 teaspoon white vinegar. Shake the solution well. If possible, put the solution in a spray bottle so you can just spray the whole freezer.[5]

3
Spray the freezer with the mixture. Be sure to dowse every surface. If you don’t have a spray bottle, dip a clean rag or sponge in the mixture and wipe down every surface. After the freezer has been wiped down, dry it off with paper towels. Plug the refrigerator back in and restore your frozen goods to their proper places.

Cleaning Cabinets and Counters

1
Clean out your cabinets. Whether they contain food, kitchen supplies, or your secret stash of candy, clean your cabinets out every once in a while. Throw away expired items and wipe the cabinets with a wet, soapy rag to remove dust and crumbs.[6]

2
Clean the front of your cabinets. Grime and grease can build up on the fronts of cabinets. Wipe them down with a wet rag and dry them thoroughly to avoid any color distortion.
If you have wooden cabinets, consider using a cleaning supply specifically made for wood.

3
Wipe down your counters. You should do this every night after you are done cooking. Use a sponge and soapy water to wipe counters down. Wipe them dry with a clean rag or paper towels.[7]
You could also buy some cleaning supplies to wipe your counters down with. There are many anti-bacterial sprays, disposable wipes and de-greasing products.
If your counters are made with granite or stone, you should use cleaning supplies specifically made for that kind of countertop.

Its important to sanitize your disposal once in a while as well. Make frozen cubes of vinegar in an ice tray, drop them down the disposal, then pour boiling water into it as you run the disposal.
